Remember – this is Radio: you need to give descriptions so the listener can imagine the scene. Use sound effects to assist in setting the scene. Below is an example script. Once you have read it, delete it and create your own.

( Sound effect: Sport fans screaming & cheering)

Commentator: 10 seconds left of the game, the score is 1-1 can Steve and Andy score a goal before time runs out?

Player Andy: Pass the ball to me Steve!

Player Steve: Andy you better make a goal!

Commentator: Steve passes to Andy 5 seconds left, will Andy score?

(Sound Effect: heavy breathing & running sounds)

Commentator: Andy passes by the defenders, he’s near the goal...AND Goal ! HE SCORES!

(Sound Effect: Fans cheering wildly)

Narrator: Andy runs up to the fans, screaming wildly and... he raises his hands up...
(Music: Suspense music)
(Sound Effect: Screaming crowd & stampede )

Andy: What happened?

Narrator: Ehmm...Your BIO caused the fans to go crazy and not in the good way.

(Sound Effect: Sniff)

Andy: God! That stinks! Eh this is embarrassing.

Steve: BIO smackdown eh?

Andy: You know it

Steve: Well you should start using BIO SLAYER. It helps fight that stench of yours. It comes in different flavors like pineapple, pine tree, and even strawberry! It’s only $10! And you will never have BIO problems again. Test it out.

(Sound Effect: long sniff, and exhale)

Andy: Wow. My pits smells wonderful.

Narrator: Buy the BIO SLAYER and you will never have BIO problems again.
